Review

This is like the Troll 2 or The Room of television. The acting is wrong the writing is wrong the effects are wrong. But through all of it going wrong they manage to make such a beautiful product that is making me tune in because I find it entertaining... Just for all the wrong reasons.

The plot of this episode is that the Agents of SHIELD (who are nothing but characters recycled from other TV shows) are investigating an 084. What is an 084 A U.F.O. Why didn't they use that terminology But I digress. They find the UFO in an archaeological dig. It is over 500 years old powered by the tesseract and (get this) seems to have German engineering. Think that's funny I haven't even started to go into the hilarity yet.

So Coulson meets a woman from his past (Can we have an explanation for why he survived being STABBED THROUGH THE HEART IN THE AVENGERS Because that isn't explained) and they decide to work together at the drop of a hat. They go onto the plane they arrived in and it turns out that the woman is an enemy. The team then begins to be knocked out and tied up they then break out and use a robot to blow a hole in the ship where Coulson is tied up. What's their reaction "He can handle himself." Do you see why this is funny yet After walking onto the part of the ship with the hole in it () they seem to get everybody out except for the main bad guy and what do they do to stop the hole in the plane An inflatable air raft plugs it... I wish I was making this up.

Everything is wrong with this show. The characters are clichຝ their chemistry is nonexistent the plots are horrible and they try and make references to the movies to make sure we know this is in continuity the writing is dumb and... to be honest I can take internet reviewers such as The Nostalgia Critic and The Cinema Snob more seriously. No I'm not even kidding. I can take a pretentious arthouse snob on the internet reviewing ZGrade movies more seriously. That's how funny this show is.

I mean there have been some really good shows based on comic books such as Blade The Series and Witchblade (Yes I think Witchbade could be taken more seriously) so don't get me wrong I think something like this can be done. It's just the way they carry it out it's laughable.

All I can say about the show is that although I have been giving this episode crap... It's actually worth a watch. It's just one of those things like The Room Plan 9 From Outer Space and Troll 2 (No I went there I think this is on the same level) that is so enjoyably bad that it is really worth a watch. If you are entertained by this for all the right reasons then that's great! All I'm saying is that I find this entertaining for the wrong reasons.
