Review
Finally in this episode Homeland is returning to why I started watching it. Not once do you see Carriethecryfaceschizo we've been seeing in the last few episodes so it is not surprising that this is my favorite so far of the third season. True that has been an integral thread in the plot from day one but it was beginning to suffocate the clean toughminded air of a good hardboiled spy thriller. Because let's be clear this is not nor should it be a show 'about' Carrie's illness. Rather it is a kicka** espionage cliffhanger. Whatever they have to do they need to keep Carrie's mental problems as peripheral as possible. I almost jumped ship on the fourth episode of this season.
