Set primarily in Folkestone and Calais where detectives Karl Roebuck and Elise Wassermann are called to investigate the death of a French politician. When a shocking discovery is made at the crime scene the pair is forced into an uneasy partnership as they seek out a politically-motivated serial killer who draws them into his own personal agenda.

ȭoes any of this sound familiar It should because it's the exact copy word per word of the TV serial The Bridge". Yes we know that and more important the producers of this show knows that very well. It is based on the original DanishSwedish series ȫron Broen" exactly like the TV series "The Bridge" (USA).
I personally don't see the point of making another version since the original series was shown on BBC Four but what can you do. Let's hope this is going to be a better version than the USA one which was all over the place by the end of the first season.
